I have long extolled the virtues of text messaging as a productivity tool. This is a really clever (and surprisingly powerful) version of that: an AI assistant that communicates through text messages, that can set reminders, make calendar events, and more. I’ve been using it for one-off reminders all week, and it works great.

I have been using Dola with Whatsapp and @googlecalendar to manage my agenda and that is pretty nice. It's everything that the Google assistant should be able to do, but doesn't (especially since it was removed from the Pixel phone's search bar). @heydola_ai

I'm already impressed with Dola's accuracy and its ability to understand my requests to create events quickly. For my first test, I told it, "I need to be at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in time for the solar eclipse." Dola knew that an upcoming total eclipse was a couple of weeks from now and padded some extra time between my arrival and the start time of the eclipse. The event immediately showed up in my Google Calendar, so syncing works great, too. Brilliant work by the Dola team!

Knowing Sophia for a while and tried Dola for a bit. As an entrepreneur my calendar is somewhat…more diverse hahaha, and Dola does achieve a pretty nice sidekick’s job. I do think I need a sidekick more than an assistant and Dola does it.I'm open to becoming a paying user if Dola AI continues to deliver on its promise of being a reliable AI assistant. Surpassing my expectations and pushing the limit of agent tool would be even better, but less ambitions work for me too. And the logo? Meow, I’m lovin it.

This is one of my favorite things I’ve bumped into lately. I love to simplicity of the solution and I’ve recommended it to my team. I use it daily for reminders and setting up new events. It’s a great way to ensure I don’t forget things in stream of conversations or meetings and has become a real value add as I schedule follow ups via text and then rearrange later if need be. Would absolutely pay for this

Dola is a great AI tool and free! It will remind you exactly what you need to remember. For example, you have a meeting with Vijay tomorrow and the meeting starts at 10, but you need to remember it by 9. Dola will do that for you.
